Sometimes it’s good to hop in the car with some girlfriends and sneak away to celebrate life, kids, husbands and – yes, ourselves. A few friends and I recently did this and had a great time with “just the girls” shopping, laughing, talking and eating in Chicago for our whirlwind 24-hour getaway. Give it a try – if even for an evening or an afternoon where you can just relax with good friends. You deserve this time. It’s healthy for you.
