Crock Pot Roast Beef Au Jus

2 TBSP butter
1 chopped shallot
1 tbsp. flour
2 cans beef consomme

Melt butter in pan, add chopped shallot -saute 2 min. Whisk 1 tbsp. flour and add 2 cans beef consomme..Whisk over heat until it bubbles. transfer to crock pot and add sliced rare roast beef(from deli counter at grocery store). Toast french bread and melt swiss cheese on bread and dip bread in au jus! Delicious!!
