When you only have 15 minutes to get a workout in – do it! Here are a few things to work in when you feel like you have no time to work out.
- Take a quick walk.
- Do a few sets of lunges or squats.
- Add arm movements (hold weights, bicep curls) into your walk.
- Take the stairs (a few times in a row to get a nice pace going)
- Isometrics for those times you can’t get away from your desk. While sitting you can squeeze your buttocks, hold and release.
- While at the stove making dinner, do back leg lifts to shape up your back side or do calf raises.
- Jot down those exercises you want to do on an index card and slip it in your purse. When the 15 minute clock starts ticking, you’re ready to go with your quick routine.
