Just like your body, your brain also needs exercise. A study found that older people who received brain training stayed mentally sharp for years afterwards. Dividing into 2 groups, one group received no training, the other group received between 10-18 hours of training for memory, reasoning, or speed thinking. After 5 years, the people who received the brain training had improved cognitive function and were more capable of performing daily activities compared to the control group.
